When You Find Your Life Is In Transition or You Are Alone In Life Again

Regardless of what resulted, when you find yourself alone again in life the reality of the fact in today's culture, usually puts you in quite vulnerable position but you do not realize it.  You may feel like a disconnect looking for a connection to relieve the pain and hurt.  Hasty, and unwise choices could find you jumping from the frying pan directly into the fire.  Time is necessary for healing to position you to make wiser choices as each year passes.  According to the Life Insurance Institute and Property and Casualty industry which review risk factors, most people should give themselves three years before making life changing choices.   Below are some suggestions you may find helpful  as you work to sort your life out and make sense of things you are presented with at this time of life.  These suggestions are drawn over time from our education and thirty plus years of experience in assisting persons dealing with life transitions.

Risk Factors to review: The older a person is can increase the risk factors makeing more time and care necessary as you, and those assisting you, approach each area of risk.

  1. Your health, taking time to be proactive for your health is critical.  Proper nutrition is necessary along with properly physical activity, rest, and relaxation. Being a hermit will be a determent to yourself as well as those about you.
  2. Relationships, quality and time are necessary, appreciate family and friends, others may cause an added storm in your life instead of filling a lonely need.
  3. Finances, do not use money to fix your loss, it can cause additional devastation in your life.
      • Preparing an effective budget with a trusted advisor is critical.
      • Discuss with a trusted advisor where you are for each financial area

      • Take time before you make major changes

  1. Transportation, a good working vehicle used wisely can be a comfort ask about a trustworthy auto repair place to care for needs as they arrise.
  2. Property, a home properly kept can be a haven, one otherwise a growing crises. Ask about trusted repair persons to make a list for times when you may need one. Living arrangements should be well thought and given time before any changes are made.
  3. Look forward for Life with each aspect of your life. Set small goals you know you can accomplish and enjoy doing them. The more difficult can follow as you grow in strength. Acknowledge a ruff day or sadness as a dip in the journey of life but not an end in itself. Be forgiving of yourself and others, it will lighten your load greatly.
  4. Appreciating what you have and the specialness of who you are.
  5. Fill your days by looking out and reaching out to the sunshine for what each day may offer and the people within it.  Assisting others in need with encouragement and kindness, will lighten your needs, since a cup overflowing is fresh as it gives, then one that is stagnate and withholding.
  6. Give yourself time to feel life and enjoy walking through each day for itself with its joys and challenges.
  7. Remember God made you special, and He loves you more than anyone else.
