Since GuideOne's inception as America's first auto insurer for nondrinkers, the company has remained steadfast in the fight against drinking and driving, and against underage drinking in America.

Why GuideOne Foundation?
In 1998, GuideOne furthered its social mission with the creation of the GuideOne Foundation, a nonprofit, charitable organization.  Charitable giving by the GuideOne Foundation is designed to make a positive impact on the communities of GuideOne policyholders, their ministries, and charitable causes that GuideOne customers value the most.  Because there are a multitude of charitable efforts that are worthy of support, the GuideOne Foundation focuses it efforts and resources on programs and organizations that meet specific criteria in the following categories:

Mission and Community Development Organizations, such as:

  • Habitat for Humanity Local Affiliates
  • World Vision

Immediate Need Assistance Such as: 

  • American Red Cross
  • American's Second Harvest National Food Bank

Drinking and Driving and Underage Drinking Prevention, Such as:

  • Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD)
  • Sudents Against Destructive Decisions (SADD) 
  • Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA)  
  • Drug Abuse Resistance Education (D.A.R.E.)
